Moving to Lake Ridge with kids -good idea?

So, I'm retired and Homes are going for about $452,800 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Appreciate any input. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
