Is it worth buying in Lake Station?

Hey folks, I'm a college student here and With a population of 13,109, Lake Station is a small town. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Lake Station? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Maple Ridge area are pretty good. Kids love it here.
