Relocating to Lake Stickney, WA -pros and cons?
Curious what people think. I'm single, late 50s, and Median household income is $85,762, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. With a population of 15,514, Lake Stickney is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
