Considering Lakeland North vs Minneapolis -help me decide

I'm retired and The median home value here is around $501,600, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $2,227/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much manageable but now it's better than expected.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Uptown area are excellent. Kids love it here.
