I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $1,558/month for a decent place. Median household income is $105,273, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $105,273 in Lakeland South. Homes are going for about $530,900 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I overthinking this? The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
