OK so My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 5.3%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $80,686, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,384 for rent here. The median home value here is around $249,300, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? Appreciate any input. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
