Grocery stores in Lakeview -recommendations?

Hi all, I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $556,900 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 12 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in North. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in retail. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The healthcare is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I work in hospitality here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is challenging. Hope this helps!.
