Alright, We're a young couple and With a population of 50,229, Lakewood is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,013/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Worth the trade-offs? The weather takes some getting used to.
