Longtime lurker here, I'm a teacher here and Crime rate is something to consider -Lakewood sits at 122.5 per 100K. The median home value here is around $241,500, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Any help is appreciated.
