Moving to Lakewood for work -advice?

Alright, I relocated for work and Rent is about $1,013/month for a decent place. Median household income is $65,925, which feels about average for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Let me know your thoughts. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much reasonable but now it's better than expected.
