Poverty rate is 6.1%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,013/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 3 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
