Best industries in Lakewood Park right now

Not sure if this has been asked before, but You can expect to pay around $1,185 for rent here. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Tampa about 15 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in South for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The community vibe scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. No regrets on my end..

Bought a house here in 2016 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from LA about 10 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are wild, gas is improving.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Feel free to reach out with questions..
