Lakewood Park is underrated, change my mind

Hey, Crime rate is something to consider -Lakewood Park sits at 440.9 per 100K. Rent is about $1,185/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Has anyone dealt with this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
