Rent in Lakewood getting crazy

Alright, Been living here since 2024. Poverty rate is 8.2%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $70,524, which feels about average for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I overthinking this? Thanks in advance! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
