Hi all, I'm single, late 20s, and Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cheers.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Pine Hills. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Thai.

No regrets on my end..

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in West area are decent. Kids love it here.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
