What surprised you most about Lambertville?

The median home value here is around $233,500, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $100,134, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 9,708 people. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Thanks for reading. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 3 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
