What's it really like living in Lancaster?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm single, late 30s, and It's a a smaller city city with about 40,902 people. Homes are going for about $180,200 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? Thanks in advance! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is improving in most areas.
