Best neighborhoods in Lancaster

First post here. My partner and I are Rent is about $1,177/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $203,700 on average. Poverty rate is 17.7%, which is higher than I expected. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Definitely worth checking out..
