Anyone else love living in Land O' Lakes?

Hey folks, Been living here since 2008. With a population of 41,845, Land O' Lakes is a smaller city. The median home value here is around $349,900, which seems about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 41,845 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in The Heights for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- The weather scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
