Rent in Landen getting crazy

Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and The median home value here is around $284,400, which seems about average. You can expect to pay around $1,463 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Anyone in a similar situation? The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to San Diego it's surprisingly good.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Greenfield area are average. Kids love it here.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Definitely worth checking out..

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Downtown. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
