What's it really like living in Landover Hills?

I'm a 52-year-old HR manager and The median home value here is around $333,500, which seems about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Landover Hills sits at 543.5 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Midtown for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The healthcare scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..
