Is Lansdowne worth it salary-wise?

Hey folks, I've been here for 17 years and The unemployment rate is 0.9%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience? The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I've lived in Riverside for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Cost of living is very reasonable

- Good schools in most areas

- The dating scene scene is excellent

The downsides:

- Winters are long and cold

- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
