Is Lansing worth it salary-wise?

I'm single, late 30s, and Homes are going for about $403,900 on average. Poverty rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here? There's a real s...
