Is Lantana a good place to live?

Curious what people think. You can expect to pay around $3,410 for rent here. Rent is about $3,410/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Does this match your experience?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 8 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into running, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Oak Park side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
