Anyone regret moving to Laplace?

I'm originally from Kansas City and Crime rate is something to consider -Laplace sits at 518.9 per 100K. With a population of 28,480, Laplace is a smaller city. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Moved here from Tampa about 8 years ago. it's not perfect but it works for me. Still getting used to housing market but Would recommend to anyone considering it..

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much competitive but now it's excellent.
