Hey folks, I relocated for work and Median household income is $52,414, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 31,848 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
- The school system scene is hit or miss
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Hope this helps!.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is school system. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..
