What I wish I knew before living in Laramie

First post here. Rent is about $933/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $302,200, which seems about average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I wrong here? The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The walkability is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 5 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
