How much do you pay for rent in Laredo?
Hi all, With a population of 256K, Laredo is a mid-size city. Should I be concerned? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Meadowbrook. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in real estate. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like seafood.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..
