Curious what people think. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Lakewood. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
No regrets on my end..
