My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $60,465 in Largo. Homes are going for about $208,500 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What are your go-to spots?

I work in healthcare here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is excellent. No regrets on my end..

Used to live on the Lakewood side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in South for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Close to major attractions
- The school system scene is tough
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Road conditions need improvement
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Highland area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to LA it's better than expected.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.
