Anyone else noticing rent going up fast in Largo? Over the last year, I feel like prices went up at least 10-15%. I'm paying $1482 for a 2BR which feels okay for the area.
Are there any neighborhoods that are still affordable? Thinking about moving to a cheaper area.

Moved here last year. No regrets. The local food is incredible.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Pine Grove and Midtown are perfectly safe.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Respectfully disagree about the safety concerns. In my experience, there are good opportunities if you network.

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

Rent tip: look for places in January-February. Prices drop and there's more availability.

Good summary. I'd rate it higher personally — maybe 6/10.
