What to expect moving to Las Cruces?

Hi all, You can expect to pay around $946 for rent here. Poverty rate is 17.1%, which is higher than I expected. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
