What I wish I knew before living in Latham

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Homes are going for about $300,300 on average. Household incomes average around $101,580 in Latham. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Thanks!

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much reasonable but now it's pretty good.
