Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Denver it's underrated.

I've lived in Westside for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Four distinct seasons
- The walkability scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
