Hey folks, I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a smaller city city with about 73,961 people. Poverty rate is 17.0%, which is higher than I expected. Household incomes average around $49,685 in Lauderhill. Average temperature is around 77--F, so it's warm year-round. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
