What Lauderhill does better than anywhere else

Hi all, I relocated for work and Rent is about $1,620/month for a decent place. Median household income is $49,685, which feels on the lower side for the area. The median home value here is around $244,500, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? Cheers. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 7 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
