Cost of living reality check -Laughlin
First post here. I'm single, late 30s, and Poverty rate is 16.2%, which is higher than I expected. Homes are going for about $255,000 on average. Household incomes average around $45,248 in Laughlin. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
