Day-to-day life in Laurel, MD

Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 17 years and You can expect to pay around $1,878 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Laurel sits at 476.5 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.
