Worst things about Laurel nobody talks about
Anyone else feel this way? I work in education and With a population of 17,129, Laurel is a small town. Homes are going for about $110,200 on average. It's a a small town city with about 17,129 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cheers. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
