Dog-friendly places in Lawndale?

Hi all, Born and raised here. Rent is about $1,847/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $83,538 in Lawndale. Crime rate is something to consider -Lawndale sits at 381.7 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What are your go-to spots? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Houston about 3 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are developing, gas is tough.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Good luck with whatever you decide..

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much established but now it's better than expected.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
