Studio apartments in Lawndale -options?

Hello, Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,847 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What are your go-to spots? TIA! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good healthcare facilities
- The weather scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.
