If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is solid in most areas.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much growing but now it's better than expected.
