What's it really like living in Lawrenceburg?

So, I'm retired and Rent is about $901/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $185,400 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What would you do? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. No regrets on my end..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much manageable but now it's better than expected.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Downtown area are tough. Kids love it here.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Pine Hills. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in government. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
