Best industries in Lawrenceburg right now

I relocated for work and It's a a small town city with about 11,732 people. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Anyone in a similar situation?

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a contractor, 24, moved here 10 years ago from Boston. I've lived in Highland and Sunset, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good internet infrastructure
2. Active local events and festivals
3. Close to major attractions
4. The people are generally average - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Nightlife is limited
2. Urban sprawl is real
3. The public transit situation is pricey and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Highland: Great for remote workers. underrated vibes, walkable.
- Sunset: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Boston, everything felt underrated. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are stable. Gas is pricey. You can live comfortably on $100K-$80K here.

**Final verdict:**
Definitely worth checking out.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.
