How is Lawton for outdoor activities?

Hey, I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $134,200, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $134,200 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any advice would be great. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Houston it's average.
