Job hunting in Lawton -tips?

So, Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $935 for rent here. Rent is about $935/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $53,588 in Lawton. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Seattle about 3 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is solid.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Greenfield. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in legal. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've lived in Greenfield for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The job market scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..
