Thinking about relocating to Leadville from Nashville

Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 9 years and Average temperature is around 35--F, so bundle up in winter. The median home value here is around $374,700, which seems about average. It's a a small town city with about 2,634 people. Median household income is $83,875, which feels pretty solid for the area. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What neighborhoods would you suggest? TIA! The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in North. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in government. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Definitely worth checking out..
