Not sure if this has been asked before, but Military spouse here. It's a a mid-size city city with about 115K people. Poverty rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Does this match your experience? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a contractor who relocated here from Nashville about 6 years ago. The main reasons were work and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are developing, gas is excellent.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. No regrets on my end..
