Just moved to League City from Miami — first impressions

We made the move 3 ago and here are my first impressions:

Cost of living is reasonable for what you get. Rent runs about $1,628/month for a typical apartment. The weather is great — warm most of the year with an average of 72F.

Biggest surprise: How friendly the neighbors are
Biggest disappointment: Some areas feel neglected

Overall, I really enjoy living here.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Rent tip: look for places in October-November. Prices drop and there's more availability.
