Leavenworth quality of life -am I missing something?

Hey, My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Greenfield area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 15 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
